Review 2: i admit it.i skipped to the J/A moments. The Adrian English series, as well as anything Josh Lanyon writes is a great, enjoyable read with likable characters and a plot that won't stand still. However, if such things have to be included Lanyon is at least skilled in weaving this humdrum aspect of his character's lives into the story. Like most mystery fiction nowadays, there's the romantic interest which I suppose is a demand of the publishers since I have never seen where this added anything to the story or the characters. I love his characters, of whom Adrian English is only one. Review 1: Josh Lanyon is a reliable, interesting, and very skilled mystery writer. ![]()
